Jed Johnson

Jed Johnson's work experience includes holding the roles of Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Nanofiber Solutions since July 2010, Co-Founder and CTO at Matrix Food Technologies, Inc. since October 2019, Co-Founder and CTO at Atreon Orthopedics since August 2017, and Co-Founder and CTO at Phoenix Wound Matrix by RenovoDerm since August 2017. Jed also served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Ohio Climbers Coalition starting in January 2017 and as a Board Member for Solid Rock Climbers For Christ starting in November 2014. Prior to these positions, Jed was a Research Fellow at The Ohio State University from September 2000 to July 2010, where they worked on tissue engineering applications as a Ph.D. student in the Materials Science and Engineering department. Jed also gained experience as a Product Engineer Intern at Exactech in June 2004 and as a Cylinders Engineer Intern at Worthington Industries from January 2003 to September 2003, where they evaluated and optimized steel compositions for pressure cylinder production, resulting in cost savings for the company.

Jed Johnson obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science from The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2009. Jed continued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science from 2000 to 2010. Additionally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2010.

In terms of certifications, Jed Johnson completed the course "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I" from Coursera in March 2013. Later, in May 2013, they obtained the certification "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part II" from the same institution.
