Matthew Monti

Matthew Monti has a work experience that spans over several years in the biomedical engineering field. Matthew started their career in 2003 as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Enable Medical Corp. In this role, they focused on manufacturing processes.

In 2006, Matthew joined AtriCure, Inc. as a Senior Lab Coordinator. Matthew performed bench and in vivo testing with product development teams, managed pre-clinical studies, authored IACUC protocols, and handled research agreements and financials.

Later, Matthew transitioned to the role of Principal Biomedical Engineer at AtriCure. Matthew led a multidisciplinary team in delivering feasible concepts for development, planned in vivo studies, and conducted prototyping and testing. Matthew also prepared technical design review presentations and collaborated with key researchers in the cardiac arena.

Currently, Matthew is serving as the R&D Director at AtriCure, a position they started in March 2022. No end date is provided for this role.
