Rob Klein

Rob Klein has a strong background in materials engineering and research. Rob has worked at AtriCure, Inc. as a Principal Materials Engineer since November 2020. Prior to that, they were at Stress Engineering Services, Inc. where they held the roles of Senior Associate from January 2019 to November 2020 and Associate from June 2014 to November 2020. Before joining Stress Engineering Services, Inc., Rob worked at Luna Innovations as a Senior Research Scientist from October 2008 to May 2014, focusing on R&D for various materials and expertise areas such as sealants, adhesives, coatings, and electromagnetic materials. Rob began their career at Sandia National Laboratories as a Postdoc from January 2007 to October 2008.

Rob Klein obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara from 1998 to 2002. Rob later pursued their education further at Penn State University, where they received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Engineering from 2002 to 2006.
