Scot Armstrong has extensive work experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Scot is currently the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at AtriCure, Inc., a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the company from January 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining AtriCure, Inc., Scot worked at Hill-Rom for a significant period of time. Scot held various roles within the company, including Director of Global Advance Manufacturing Engineering from February 2015 to 2019. Scot also served as a Team Leader in Advance Manufacturing Engineering from September 2008 to February 2015, and as the Manufacturing Lead for the Mexico Operations Startup Team from August 2006 to September 2008. Prior to these leadership roles, they worked as a Team Leader in Manufacturing Engineering from December 2004 to August 2006 and as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer from November 1997 to December 2004. Scot started their career at Hill-Rom as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer from February 1996 to November 1997, and as an Advanced Industrial Engineer from June 1992 to February 1996.

Scot Armstrong has an Executive Certificate in Business of Life Sciences from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Scot also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Breakthrough Performance Group, LLC in 2019.
