Carleton Maxwell

Carleton Maxwell, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, DPLA, FNPhA, currently serves as the PGY-1 Residency Program Director and Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Atrium Health since April 2019. In addition to this role, Carleton Maxwell has been the Executive Director of the National Pharmaceutical Association Foundation since June 2021, overseeing the execution of the strategic plan set by the Board of Trustees. Previous experience includes serving as a Cardiovascular Clinical Pharmacist at Carolinas Healthcare System from February 2010 to April 2019 and a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacist at West Tennessee Healthcare from August 2008 to February 2010. Carleton Maxwell holds an MBA in Health Care Administration from New England College and a Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Fisk University.
