Jeffrey Oliver has a strong background in law enforcement and security, with over 25 years of experience. Jeffrey has held various leadership positions, including Director Corporate Security Operations/Chief of Company Police/Director of Visitor Relations at Atrium Health, where they were responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and leading the Security Management Program. Prior to this, they served as Assistant Chief of Police/Director of Security at Cleveland County HealthCare system, overseeing daily operations and managing a budget of approximately $1 million. Jeffrey also worked as a Police Sergeant at the Shelby Police Department, where they supervised various units and worked as a patrol officer and narcotics investigator.

Jeffrey Oliver, CHPA has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western Carolina University (2014-2016). Jeffrey also holds an AAS in Criminal Justice Technology from Stanly Community College (2010-2011) and a Certificate in Network Forensic Investigations from BlueRidge Community College (2007-2009). Additionally, they completed a Certificate in Basic Law Enforcement Training from Cleveland Community College (1994-1995). Prior to that, they attended Gardner-Webb University from 1990 to 1992. Jeffrey Oliver earned a Diploma in National Honors and was an NC Scholar from Shelby High (1987-1990). Jeffrey has received several certifications, including Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator from IAHSS (obtained in July 2018), GLOCK Certified Professional Armorer from GLOCK, Inc. (obtained in July 2014), and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from CPI (obtained in March 2012). Jeffrey is also a member of the ASIS Community Steering Committee and holds multiple certifications from the NC Department of Justice.
