Joy Moten-Thomas

Joy Moten-Thomas currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Government Relations at Atrium Health, advocating for Atrium Health Navicent and collaborating with executive leaders and lobbyists to enhance healthcare services in local and state communities. Previously, Joy held various roles at Fort Valley State University, including Assistant Extension Administrator for Community Development and Outreach, where efforts focused on securing grants and supporting economic development in underserved communities. Additional experience includes overseeing community programs, managing facilities development, and providing technical assistance to municipalities as a Regional Resource Coordinator for the State of Georgia. Joy's educational background includes a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wesleyan College.
