Peter Cassidy

Peter Cassidy, FACHE, is a highly accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in rehabilitation and acute care settings. Currently serving as Vice-President at Atrium Health since 2010, Peter leads award-winning teams across various rehabilitation hospitals and therapy programs, achieving national recognition for excellence in patient satisfaction and employee engagement. Peter's leadership has resulted in multiple awards, including the 2019 AHA Quest for Quality Award and rankings in the top 1% of hospitals for patient satisfaction. Additionally, Peter has been a Surveyor for CARF International since 2007, conducting accreditation surveys globally. With prior roles at Carolinas Healthcare System as Assistant Vice President and Director of Rehabilitation, along with a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University, Peter possesses a strong educational foundation to support a dedicated commitment to improving health outcomes and organizational performance.
