Bob Yow has extensive work experience in the hospitality, investment, and corporate development industries. Bob is currently serving as the Vice President of Transactions & Asset Management at Atrium Hospitality since July 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions Services at Alvarez & Marsal from 2022 to June 2023.
From 2016 to 2022, Bob worked as a Corporate Development Consultant at Cantab, LLC, where they provided strategic advisory and investment analysis for various corporate development initiatives.
Before that, they held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development at Xanterra Travel Collection from 2010 to 2016. Bob led the corporate development team, overseeing mergers, acquisitions, and government concession proposals.
Bob also worked as the Vice President of Corporate Development at V3 Capital Strategies, LLC from 2007 to 2010, where they focused on turnaround management in the private equity and investment advisory sector.
Additionally, they worked as the Principal of the Real Estate Investment Team at Arcapita in 2006 and as the Vice President of Investments and Director of Investor Relations at CNL Financial Group from 2004 to 2006.
Bob's career started in 2001 at Bear Stearns International Limited, where they provided equity research and investment recommendations for real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure companies.
Prior to their work in the corporate sector, Bob served as an Officer and Attack Helicopter Aviator in the US Army from 1991 to 2000.
Bob Yow attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued further education at the University of Cambridge, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, Bob Yow holds certifications as a CF21 Investment Adviser from the Financial Conduct Authority (UK) and as a Commercial Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
