Tim Overend

Tim Overend has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1997. Tim began their career at Novartis as a Senior Clinical Scientist / Principal Medical Scientific Expert. Tim then moved to Mundipharma Research Limited in 2014, where they held the roles of Head of Clinical Development, Respiratory and Principal Medical Scientific Expert. In 2018, they joined AstraZeneca as an Executive Regulatory Scientific Director. Tim is currently employed at Atriva Therapeutics GmbH as VP Clinical Development & Regulatory Affairs.

Tim Overend obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiology, General from the University of Dundee in 1990. Tim then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Respiratory Physiology/Pharmacology from Liverpool John Moores University in 1994.
