Devon Briggs

Devon Briggs, CPA, CA, MBA, has a diverse work experience in both accounting and finance roles. Devon is currently working as the Director of Corporate Finance Compliance & Reporting Projects at ATS Corporation since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Accounting at Nicoya from June 2021 to April 2023 and as the Director of Corporate Accounting from June 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Nicoya, Devon worked at EY for 11 years, starting as a Staff Accountant and progressing to roles such as Senior Manager and Manager. In addition, they also served as the Treasurer for Run for Life from September 2014 to June 2019 and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo in 2010. Overall, Devon's experience showcases their expertise in corporate finance, compliance, accounting, and managerial roles.

Devon Briggs, CPA, CA, MBA, obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2018. In 2013, they completed a Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Financial Management, Co-op from the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2012. Devon also holds the certification of CPA, CA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, which they obtained in 2015. Devon completed their secondary education at Uxbridge Secondary School.
