Greg McDonald

Greg McDonald is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in automation and controls. Currently serving as an Applications Engineering - Controls Specialist at ATS Automation since August 2022, Greg previously held various roles at Skyjack Inc. from April 2017 to August 2022, including Automation Engineering Manager, Automation Engineering Supervisor, and Automation Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as a Controls Specialist at RidgeTech Automation Inc., a Controls Integrator at Process Systems Integration, and a Junior Manufacturing Engineer at Hatch Industries, where design of stainless steel equipment for the food industry using Solidworks was a key responsibility. Greg also completed a co-op at Babcock & Wilcox Canada, Ltd., focusing on manufacturing engineering support, and worked as a General Metal Machinist at The Murray Group Ltd. Educated at Conestoga College, Greg completed studies from 2005 to 2011.
