Global HRIS Integration Lead at ATS Automation

Melissa Slade has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Melissa began their career as a Snowboard Instructor at Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort from January 2010 to April 2011. Melissa then worked as a Server at Shoeless Joe's Limited from May 2009 to September 2012.

In 2012, they joined ATS Automation as a Human Resources Co-op, where they assisted with HR department administration and data reporting until May 2012. From May 2012 to May 2013, they served as a Human Resources Coordinator at ATS Automation, handling recruitment, benefits administration, and performance management for 500+ employees across two divisions. Melissa was proficient in various HR systems and had expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and Visio.

Afterward, Melissa held the role of Human Resources Generalist at ATS Automation from October 2013 to October 2014 and again from October 2014 to May 2017. In this capacity, they gained experience in HR system implementation, project management, business analysis, and change management. Melissa successfully led Time & Attendance system implementations in the USA, Malaysia, and Germany.

Most recently, Melissa held the position of Global HRIS Integration Lead at ATS Automation from March 2022 onward. In this role, they managed global HR Technology projects, including acquisitions, from discovery to maintenance. Melissa provided support to senior HR Leadership with HR system implementation through process and project management.

Overall, Melissa Slade has demonstrated expertise in HR systems, project management, and change management, with a focus on HRIS and Time & Attendance systems.

Melissa Slade has a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Conestoga College, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from the University of Guelph, graduating between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their degrees, Melissa has obtained certifications as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from IIBA in 2022 and as a Certified Human Resources Professional from the HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in 2014.
