Kevin Sutherby

Kevin Sutherby has a diverse work experience, holding various leadership roles in different companies. Kevin started their career in consulting at Ernst & Whinney and later worked for Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Manager. In 1999, they became the CEO and President of Milwaukee Sign Co, significantly increasing sales and later overseeing the combined company Signstrut-Milwaukee.

In 2007, Sutherby joined Danaher, where they served as President of Accu-Sort and Corporate Director of DBS Office. During their tenure, they led the turnaround of the Auto Identification and material handling divisions, resulting in a successful sale. Kevin also facilitated new company management onboarding and implemented lean tools for continuous improvement.

Sutherby then worked at Datalogic as the President of Accu-Sort, spearheading the integration of Accu-Sort and Datalogic in North America. Kevin later joined Beckman Coulter as the Director and General Manager of the Rapids Business Unit, where they effectively stabilized and grew the division.

At Fortive, Sutherby held multiple roles, including VP of Business Development and President of Specialty Product Technologies, overseeing three independent operating companies. Kevin'sresponsibilities included developing strategies, budgets, and organizational development plans.

Before joining their current position as the President of SP Industries, Inc., in 2022, Sutherby served as the Senior Vice President of Lean Practice at Lean Focus LLC. In this role, they worked with global leaders to transform businesses for long-term success.

Throughout their career, Sutherby has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, operational improvement, and leadership, consistently driving growth and profitability in the companies they have worked for.

Kevin Sutherby completed their BA in Accounting at Michigan State University from 1980 to 1984. Kevin then pursued an MBA in Production & Operations and Marketing at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1988 to 1990.
