Mark Tan has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Mark currently serves as the Head of Engineering (Security and Traffic) and Solution Architect at ATT Systems Group, where they work closely with the Sales team to design technical solutions for Tender Bids. Mark manages a team of 15 professionals and provides guidance on project development and design issues. Prior to this, they served as a Software Development Manager at Evantek Pte Ltd and as a Solution Architect at Smartidea Pte Ltd. Mark has also worked at ST Electronics as a Technical Manager and Assistant Technical Manager, where they developed ESRI extensions tools and implemented a message queue system. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Software Engineer at MediaRing Ltd and as an Application Support Engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in software development, system administration, and problem-solving.
Mark Tan has a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Mark then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology with a focus on Software Design and Data Communication at RMIT University from 2000 to 2002. After that, they obtained a Master of Technology in Information Technology from RMIT University specializing in Advance Databases and Distributed Networking from 2002 to 2003.
