Zain Ul Abidin

Zain Ul Abidin has over seven years of experience in operations and process engineering within the oil and gas sector, currently serving as an Operations/Process Shift Engineer at Attock Refinery Limited since January 2016. Responsibilities include utilizing process design methodologies, developing work practices for new or modified process plants, and ensuring safe plant operations through monitoring and controlling process parameters. Zain has also supervised annual turnarounds, preventive maintenance, and optimization of energy use across various sections of the refinery. Previous roles include operations engineering in multiple plant sections and a Graduate Engineering Trainee position at Fatima Group, with a solid educational foundation in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab.
