Tony Chong has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Tony is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at the Attorney-General's Chambers in Singapore. Prior to this, they held various roles at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, including Head of the Cyber Defence & Ops Support Information Technology Branch and Head of Corporate Information Technology. Before joining the Ministry of Defence, Tony worked at the Singapore Armed Forces as the Head of the Command and Control Information System. Tony also has experience as a Technology Solutions Consultant at CPG Facilities Management.
Tony Chong holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computing / Management studies from the University of Leeds, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Building & Real Estate Management from Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1996 to 1999. Tony has also obtained additional certifications including the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, as well as the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)².

The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) is led by the Attorney-General (AG), who serves as the legal adviser to the Government and is the Public Prosecutor. As principal legal advisor to the Government, the AG plays an important role in upholding the rule of law and maintaining the integrity of Singapore's legal system.
