Adam Tomasi

Adam Tomasi is the current Director at Attune Pharmaceuticals. Prior to their current position, Adam served as the Chief Scientific Officer & Head of Corporate Development at ZS Pharma, Inc. from January 2013 to March 2017. Before that, they were a Principal at Alta Partners from May 2006 to December 2013 where they were involved in the funding and development of biotechnology and medical technology companies. From January 2005 to December 2005, Adam interned as a Biotech Equity Analyst at Lehman Brothers and as a Venture Capital Intern at MPM Capital. From January 2001 to December 2004, they worked as a Group Leader/Scientist at Cytokinetics. From January 2000 to December 2001, Adam completed their post-doc at Novartis Institute for Functional Genomics. In 2006, they received their MBA/SM Dual Degree from Harvard-MIT Biomedical Enterprise Program.

Adam Tomasi graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Chemistry. Adam then went on to get their Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Irvine. After that, they got their MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a focus in Venture Capital & Finance. Finally, they got their SM from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Clinical Medicine & Healthcare Economics.
