Tauqeer Ahmad

Tauqeer Ahmad is a seasoned Lead Project Engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently at Atura Power since May 2023, Tauqeer previously served as Project Engineering Lead at Tetra Tech/Ian Martin Ltd., focusing on nuclear power generation projects in Ontario. Tauqeer's background includes leading integrated project teams at Saudi Aramco on brownfield revamp and debottleneck projects and delivering the detailed engineering design for Suncor's $3.8 billion Voyageur Upgrader project. Previous roles at Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., Worley, and Toyo Engineering Canada further solidified Tauqeer's expertise in project engineering and piping, underscoring a solid foundation in managing multi-million-dollar contracts. Tauqeer holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering & Technology in Peshawar.
