Richard Popp

Richard Popp serves as an Advisor at Lightstone Ventures since May 2013 and as a Board Member at Tangible Science, LLC. Richard is the Founder and Chairman of the Board at Hospi Corporation and has held the position of Chair of the Medical Advisory Board at Singulex since December 2010. As a Venture Partner at Advanced Technology Ventures since 2005, Richard has contributed significantly to various startups and initiatives. Additionally, Richard has been a Professor of Medicine and the Chair of the Conflict of Interest Committee at Stanford University School of Medicine since July 1971, also serving as the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 1995 to 2000. Richard leads the Section on Ethics and Policy at the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign since July 2000. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an A.B. in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
