Blair Lipkind

Blair Lipkind has over 15 years of experience in software development. In 2004, they began working as a Software Developer for Sonic Mobility, a Calgary based startup that was acquired by Avocent Corp. of Huntsville, AL. At Avocent, Lipkind worked in the Mobile Solutions department, developing software for remote mobile server administration and mobile device management. In 2007, Lipkind joined Tynt Multimedia as Lead Developer for Front End Systems, where they were responsible for managing the release and deployment of key systems, researching and developing new products and tools for publishers, and building JavaScript components embedded on customer websites. In 2012, Lipkind worked on contract as Lead Developer for Front End Systems at 33Across Inc. and in 2013, they became Technical Co-Founder of Nextread and Staff Engineer at atVenu. At atVenu, Lipkind had a leading role in bringing product vision to market, as well as architecture and design, development process design and implementation, mentorship, and solving the hard problems.

Blair Lipkind attended Queen's University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering.
