Chris Jessen is an experienced Environmental Specialist and GIS Analyst at Atwell, LLC since August 2019, with a longstanding career in GIS map development and analysis beginning in 1997. Previously, Chris served as a GIS and Database Analyst at Ecology and Environment, Inc., since March 2009, and held the position of Geologist/GIS Manager at States West Water Resources Corporation from July 1999 to August 2008, where Chris initiated a database for tracking discharge samples. Earlier roles include Geologic Assistant at the Wyoming State Geological Survey, focusing on the publication of digital geologic maps, and Hydrologic Technician for the United States Forest Service, involving field sampling and weather station monitoring. Chris holds an M.S. in Geology from the University of Wyoming and a B.A. in Philosophy from the same institution, along with studies at KU Leuven between 1987 and 1988.
