Gordon Tibbitts

Gordon Tibbitts has a diverse work experience, starting with their own company, Gordon Tibbitts Ventures, which they founded in 2007. Gordon then served as the President of Atypon Systems, Inc. starting in 2010. In the same year, they also became the Founding Executive Director of CLOCKSS, a position they held until 2011. Before that, they were the CEO of The Berkeley Electronic Press from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, Gordon Tibbitts held the position of President and CEO of Blackwell Publishing USA from 1999 to 2007. Gordon also worked as the VP General Manager at The Medstat Group from 1993 to 1999. Their career started at Aster Publishing Corp, where they served as the Director of Information Services from 1980 to 1993.

Gordon Tibbitts completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Science at the University of Oregon from 1982 to 1985. Gordon then pursued further education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, attending from 1993 to 1994.
