Benjamin Barnhill, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of analytical development, gene therapy, and mass spectrometry. Benjamin is currently working as a Principal Scientist in Analytical Development and Formulation at aTyr Pharma since July 2022. Furthermore, Benjamin has industry experience as a Summer Intern at Genentech in 2015 and as a Senior Scientist at PPD from August 2008 to August 2012. At PPD, they worked on PK/PD projects, communicated with clients, provided data analysis, and trained employees. Benjamin started as an Associate Scientist, analyzing samples and performing quantitative analyses using triple-quadrupole MS/MS and multi-dimensional HPLC/UHPLC. Benjamin was later promoted to Scientist, where they reviewed and improved analytical methods, and finally became a Senior Scientist, responsible for project management and training.
