Eileen Sun

Eileen Sun, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Program Management at aTyr Pharma, a position held since March 2021. Previously, Eileen held various roles at Rakuten Medical from January 2016 to February 2021, including Director of Program Management, where responsibilities included leading a global team and aligning development goals with corporate strategy. Eileen's earlier experience includes several positions at Rakuten Medical focused on supporting intellectual property efforts. Eileen's academic credentials include a PhD in Virology from Harvard University, an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
