Jasmine Stamps is currently working as a Senior Research Associate at aTyr Pharma, focusing on investigating the molecular mechanisms of inflammation in the gut related to inflammatory bowel disease. Prior to this role, Jasmine held various research positions at Scripps Research and Cedars-Sinai, where Jasmine also studied diseases and therapeutics. Jasmine has a background in cell biology, molecular biology, and developmental biology, having obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Riverside. During their academic career, Jasmine also worked as a lab assistant and conducted research on breast cancer stem cells and pathogenic nematodes. Additionally, Jasmine served as a section leader for the flute section of the RCC Marching Tigers.
