Akshay Jhawar

Akshay Jhawar currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Credit Cards at AU Small Finance Bank since September 2025. Previously, Akshay held various positions at Bajaj Finserv from May 2020 to September 2025, including Deputy National Lead in co-lending and structured finance, Senior Risk Lead overseeing credit risk and loss forecasting, and Lead for all aspects of co-branded credit card risk. Akshay also contributed as a Data Science Mentor at Springboard and worked at PwC UK as a Senior Manager in IFRS9 Consulting and a Data Science Consultant. Earlier experiences include key roles at HSBC and Mu Sigma involved in statistical modeling and business analysis. Akshay holds a B.Tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, and completed further education at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2023.
