Yiming Zhan

Overseas technical support engineer at AUBO Robotics

Yiming Zhan has a strong background in engineering and robotics. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Failure Analysis Engineer at Wistron, where they assisted in solving a key noise problem for the second generation butterfly keyboard of Macbook laptops. They also conducted engineering verification tests for the third generation butterfly keyboard.

In 2018, Yiming worked as a Research Assistant at the Multiscale Computational Mechanics and Biomechanics LAB, where they applied stochastic finite element analysis to structures with random variables.

In 2019, Yiming worked as a Teaching Assistant at Drexel University and helped with the course Engineering Reliability. They also worked as a Researcher for a project involving 2-D silmulation of electroosmotic injection and migration in microchannels using COMSOL multiphysics software.

They also served as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer at Guangdong Bright Dream Robotics in 2019, where they assisted with School-Enterprise Cooperation and maintained relationships with domestic and foreign universities and research institutes.

Currently, Yiming is working at AUBO Robotics as an Overseas Technical Support Engineer. They provide technical support, after-sell service, and maintain good relationships with AUBO partners in Asia and Europe. They also arrange and conduct collaborative robot operation and maintenance training for partners.

Yiming Zhan has a strong educational background in engineering. They completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineer and Automation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in the years 2012-2016. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, Yiming also had a brief educational experience at UC Irvine for language training.
