Amy Weaver

Amy Weaver is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Auburn University since January 2011, Weaver collaborates with various college communications and marketing teams to promote the achievements of faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Previous roles include Communications Specialist at Auburn University, where efforts focused on media relations and marketing strategies for recruitment and outreach, as well as reporting positions at Opelika-Auburn News and Gannett Newspapers, specializing in education and local coverage. Weaver holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
