Dana Waitai-Cross

Dana Waitai-Cross is an accomplished operations management professional with extensive experience in delivering performance improvement initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Operations Performance Delivery Manager at Auckland Airport since June 2022, Dana previously held significant roles at NZ Police as Principal Advisor and at Chorus NZ Limited in various leadership positions, including Head of Customer Support & Assurance and NGA Programme Manager. Dana has spearheaded numerous process improvement projects aimed at enhancing customer experience, streamlining operations, and increasing team engagement, achieving notable successes such as the implementation of improved Assure Channels and the transition to a new billing platform. With a strong focus on stakeholder buy-in and cultural inclusivity, Dana has demonstrated leadership in managing complex programs and driving change across cross-functional teams.
