Hutch Wilco is an experienced professional in the art sector, currently serving as the Exhibition and Projects Manager at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki since November 2022. In addition to this role, Hutch contributes as a writer for Ocula and acts as the Desk Editor for ArtAsiaPacific, focusing on the Greater China and Aotearoa regions. Hutch has extensive curatorial experience as an Independent Curator with Independent Curators International and as a Research Fellow at Shanghai University's Institute for Public Art, emphasizing public art policy and nation-building. Previous roles include Project Manager at Auckland War Memorial Museum and Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, as well as Curator, International at Hubei Museum of Art. Hutch holds a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts from Auckland University of Technology.
