Glen Sharkey is a seasoned motivational speaker, trainer, and facilitator with extensive experience spanning several decades in corporate leadership and management training. Since January 2004, Glen has been self-employed, delivering impactful workshops and keynote speeches aimed at enhancing workplace relationships and company effectiveness. Currently serving as a judge for the Westpac Business Awards, Glen evaluates the "Employer of the Year" and "Community Contribution" categories. As the Director of The Lifeworks Company Ltd, established in March 2007, Glen specializes in solutions for team development and one-on-one coaching. Previously, Glen held the role of Leadership and Management Trainer at The Learning Wave Ltd, contributing to the growth of various organizations in New Zealand and internationally. Glen's leadership capabilities were recognized during the tenure as National President of the National Speakers Association of New Zealand, alongside receiving the NSANZ Educator of the Year award. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Business-Communications Management from respected institutions.
