Dr Shima Behnoosh

Dr. Shima Behnoosh currently serves as a Performance Analyst and Document Specialist at Auckland Council since November 2023, following the role of Evaluation and Research Lead at Sport Northland from July 2019 to November 2023. Prior experience includes positions as Postgraduate and Research Coordinator and Research and Teaching Assistant at Auckland University of Technology between January 2017 and March 2019, and Marketing and Business Manager at Hilda Health Club from February 2010 to January 2014. Dr. Behnoosh has also held academic roles at Payam Noor University, Sabzevar Teacher Training University, Islamic Azad University, and Urmia University from 2007 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sport Leadership, Management and Marketing from Auckland University of Technology, a Master of Science (MSc) in Sport Management from Urmia University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc (Hons)) in Physical Education and Sport Sciences from the University of Tehran.
