Mike O'Brien is an experienced IT professional with over 25 years in service delivery and management roles. Currently serving as Service Improvement Manager at Auckland Council since January 2018, Mike leads the ICT Support Services team, focusing on teamwork and exemplary customer service while contributing to policy and procedure development. Prior to this, Mike spent nearly two decades at AECOM, rising through various managerial positions, including APAC Service Delivery Manager and New Zealand IT Manager, overseeing IT operations across multiple locations and handling significant projects like the integration of businesses and disaster recovery efforts. Mike began a career in IT as a Network Administrator at Fisher & Paykel Appliances from 1994 to 1998.
