Joel Rowan

Joel Rowan currently serves as the Manager of Communications & Engagement at Auckland Transport, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Joel spent six years at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, where responsibilities included leading a team in communications and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions, as well as acting as Regional Manager. Additional experience includes consulting for GHD in infrastructure communication, advising members of New Zealand Parliament, and serving as a communications consultant at Spark New Zealand. Joel holds both a Master of Public Management and Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, all from Victoria University of Wellington.
