Johnny Chien

Johnny Chien is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Auckland Transport, with a focus on CCTV video analytics. With over a decade of experience, Johnny has also served as a Computer Vision Specialist at Computer Scene and as a professional freelancer since 2003. Previous roles include Honorary Academic and Adjunct Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology, an intern at Daimler AG, and various engineering and research positions in Taiwan. Johnny holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Computer Science from Auckland University of Technology, earned between 2015 and 2018.
