Patrick Buckley

Patrick Buckley is a seasoned professional in spatial planning and policy, currently serving as the Spatial Planning Policy Advice Manager at Auckland Transport since July 2016. Prior roles at Auckland Transport include Team Leader - Consent Planning, Principal Planner, and Senior Planner. Patrick is also a member of the Board of Trustees at St Mary's Catholic School (Papakura) and served on the Establishment Board at St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College from December 2021 to July 2024. Prior to his current role, Patrick worked as a Planning Advisor at NZ Transport Agency and as an Intermediate Planner at Auckland Council. Patrick holds a Master's degree in Land Use Planning and Management/Development from Massey University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Auckland.
