Patrick Chan

Patrick Chan is a seasoned transportation engineer with extensive experience in road safety engineering and traffic management. Currently serving as Principal Transportation Engineer at Auckland Transport since January 2014, Patrick has established expertise in road safety matters, developed the High Risk Urban Corridors Programme, and conducted various investigations and solutions for high-risk intersections. Prior roles include Senior Road Safety Engineer and Project Transportation Engineer at TDG and GHD, respectively, where responsibilities encompassed managing design projects, conducting road safety audits, and analyzing traffic signal operations. Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Studies in Transportation and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from The University of Auckland.
