Jami Williams

Curatorial Support Manager, Human History Department at Auckland War Memorial Museum

Jami Williams possesses extensive experience in curatorial and policy roles within the museum and public sectors. Currently serving as Curatorial Support Manager in the Human History Department at Auckland War Memorial Museum since September 2015, Jami has also held the position of Programme Manager - Collection Readiness. Prior to this, Jami was Project Director for the Te Papa Manukau Project at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa from September 2014 to September 2015. Jami's career includes significant positions such as Principal Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and Chief Advisor/Senior Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Economic Development. Earlier experience includes serving as Team Leader for Community Partnerships at Auckland Regional Council and Chief Executive Officer at Sustainable Business Network. Jami holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Science from the University of Otago.
