Michael Schmoyer

Michael Schmoyer is an experienced engineering manager with a career spanning over 17 years in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Auctane since July 2021, Michael leads two development teams focused on AI and cognitive solutions for the customer service industry, leveraging Agile methodologies and CI/CD automation for efficient software releases. Prior to Auctane, Michael held positions as Senior Engineering Manager and Lead Software Engineer at TTEC, where responsibilities included overseeing AI solution development and managing the design and troubleshooting for multiple SDK products. Earlier roles included Principal Software Developer at Humanify, where Michael enhanced the iOS SDK product, and Software Engineer II at CBORD Group, where development focused on a campus ID card product suite. Michael began a career in software development as Director of Baylor Information Network during university studies, leading various development projects. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Baylor University in 2007.
