George Lane

George Lane has a diverse work experience. George currently holds the position of Chief Legal Officer at Auction.com, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as Deputy General Counsel and Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs at Auction.com. George has extensive legal experience, having worked as Senior Corporate Counsel at the same company from 2011 to 2017.

Before joining Auction.com, George Lane worked as a Law Clerk at Coffin & Driver, PLLC for a brief period in 2011. George also gained practical experience as a Summer Clerk at Coffin & Driver, PLLC in 2010.

George Lane's educational background includes studying at Texas Tech University School of Law as a student from 2008 to 2011. George also worked as a Research Technician II at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2004 to 2006, focusing on the role of TNF in Hepatic Graft v. Host.

In terms of their early career, George Lane started as a Summer Runner/Intern at BROUSSEAU GRAHAM & DOOLEY from 2000 to 2003. George then worked as a Banker III at Capital One from 2006 to 2008.

George Lane received their high school education from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, where they obtained their high school diploma from the year 1996 to 2000. George then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin, completing their undergraduate studies from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, George continued their education at Texas Tech University School of Law, where they achieved a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law between the years 2008 and 2011.
