Cleo Kerama is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy, information access, and governance. Currently serving as the Director of Legal at the Department of Transport and Planning, Cleo has held various leadership roles, including Acting Director of Corporate Strategy and Governance and Acting Director of Transport Regulatory Operations. Previous experience includes positions at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, where managerial and strategic advisory roles were undertaken. Cleo has served as a General Advisory Committee Member for auDA and interned as a Policy Officer for both the United States Congress and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Cleo holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in Law from The Australian National University and an educational background from Deakin University.
