Kris Pursiainen

Kris Pursiainen serves as the Creative Director of Social Media & Video Content at Fordham University, where responsibilities include ideating and planning social media posts for the @fordhamathletics accounts and overseeing creative execution. Concurrently, Kris is an On Air Personality at WFUV Public Radio, hosting live shows and providing commentary for Fordham Women’s Basketball while also covering the New York Knicks. Additional roles include hosting the "Draft Class" podcast and contributing to Knicks Film School, as well as a previous position as Host & Head of Social Media for The Call Sports Talk NY. Kris has prior experience as an Assistant Basketball Coach and Scorekeeper at CMEK, served as a Sports Writer for Sports Illustrated, and completed an internship at McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia, P.C. Education includes studies at Fordham University and Bergen County Academies.
