Connor Fry Sykora

Chief Technology Officer at Audesse

Connor Fry Sykora has held various positions in different companies throughout their career. In 2012, they worked as a Team Lead, Frame and Body Lead, and Suspension Lead at UMSAE Formula Electric, where they coordinated design work and defended purchases within budget. In 2015, they joined the University of Manitoba as a Research Assistant, where they developed software and hardware setups for data acquisition. Connor also worked as a MASc Researcher at the University of Waterloo, designing and testing a novel hitch concept for trailer stability control. In 2018, they joined General Motors as an ADAS Software Integration Engineer and later became the Software Strategy, Front Camera, where they led ramping up of controller integration testing and resolved critical software integration issues. Currently, they are working at Audesse as the Chief Technology Officer, starting in 2019. Overall, Connor has demonstrated a strong background in engineering and software development, with a focus on automotive technology.

Connor Fry Sykora completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Connor then pursued higher education at the University of Waterloo, earning a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2017.
