Franz Honkomp

Franz Honkomp is an experienced development engineer currently working on the Audi F1 Project, focusing on the validation and optimization of the electric machine (MGU-K) since May 2023. Previously, at Audi AG from July 2018 to April 2023, Franz held multiple roles including Integration Manager for the electric powertrain, where responsibilities included implementation of integration strategies and coordination of testing processes. Earlier positions encompassed research and development as well as test bench validation of electric machines at various companies such as ASAP Gruppe and Porsche AG. Franz holds a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and has completed multiple nanodegrees in Machine Learning and Programming from Udacity.
