Francesco Bacco

Francesco Bacco currently serves as the VP of Device Architecture ADAS/AD in the Engineering Department at AUDI AG since April 2025. Prior to this role, Francesco held multiple vice president positions at CARIAD, overseeing the architecture of the Infotainment Platform and intelligent cockpit systems from April 2022 to March 2025. Francesco's earlier experience at AUDI AG included leadership roles in platform development and infotainment systems from 2015 to 2022. Additionally, Francesco was the LTE Development Area Manager at Ericsson, managing a team of 50 engineers from August 2013 to January 2015, and held several key project management positions at ST Ericsson from March 2007 to July 2013, focusing on LTE and 3G modem development. Early career roles included positions at Ericsson, Comneon GmbH, and Siemens AG. Francesco holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova and a Maturita' Scientifica from Liceo Scientifico G. Ferrari.
