Kent Collins has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical operations and sales in the hearing healthcare industry. Kent started their career as a Staff Audiologist at Minnesota Ear, Head, & Neck Clinic from July 2002 to April 2005. Kent then joined MicroTech Hearing as a Regional Sales Manager from April 2005 to July 2007. Kent subsequently worked at Audibel, where they held various positions, including Regional Sales Director from July 2007 to March 2013, Director of TeleHear from April 2013 to May 2019, and Director of Clinical Operations from June 2019 to August 2020. Currently, they serve as the Global Director of Clinical Operations at Audibel.
Kent Collins has a strong education background in audiology. Kent earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Audiology degree at Purdue University from 1999 to 2002. Kent also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999.
In addition to their formal education, Kent has obtained various certifications in audiology. Kent is a licensed audiologist in multiple states, including Washington DC, Delaware, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Kent is also a licensed hearing aid specialist in Kentucky and New Jersey. The obtained year for all their licenses is 2016, except for their Washington DC license, which they obtained in 2018.
