Alex Trajano

Alex Trajano is an accomplished audio professional with extensive experience in sound design and production. At Audible, Inc., since September 2016, Trajano serves as Associate Director and Senior Sound Designer in Audible Studios. In addition to this role, Trajano has been the host of The Moth's StorySlam events since October 2009, showcasing storytelling talent in Detroit. As the creator and producer of the WDET podcast, The Beginning of the End, Trajano explores transformative life experiences. From January 2011 to September 2016, Trajano hosted the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's live webcast, engaging audiences with program discussions and artist interviews. Previous experience includes serving as Production Director and Audio Engineer at WDET 101.9 FM from April 2009 to September 2016 and as an audio post-production engineer at Goldsound. Trajano holds a BS in Music and a BS in Jazz Studies and Contemporary Media from Wayne State University.
