Elena Prokofieva

Elena Prokofieva is the Vice President, Northern Region, Europe at Audio Engineering Society. Elena has over 10 years of experience with AES Scotland, including serving as a Event Committee member and Chair of AES Scotland. Elena has also worked as an Acoustic Consultant / Researcher and Project manager at Edinburgh Napier University for 12 years. In their role as Knowledge Transfer research fellow, they helped Edinburgh Napier University win a Queen Anniversary Award.

Elena Prokofieva has a PhD in Acoustics from the University of Bradford, which they obtained in 2003. Elena also has a Supervising Postgraduate Research certificate from SEDA.

Elena Prokofieva works with the Northern Region team in Europe.
