Gergo Unger has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gergo started their career at METRO Cash & Carry Hungary, where they worked as an Internal Auditor and later as a Financial Controller. During their time at METRO, they gained experience in operational audits, risk-control matrixes, fraud investigation, and store profitability analysis. Gergo also developed management reports and created a board report for decision-making.

After their tenure at METRO, Gergo joined Beatmates Ltd as a Marketing Advisor, where they provided guidance and expertise in marketing strategies.

Gergo then moved on to Audio-Technica, first as a Sales Supervisor, responsible for managing the distribution of consumer electronics in multiple markets with different currencies and languages. Later, they became the Sales and Marketing Supervisor, overseeing a team and managing a multi-million euro budget. Currently, they serve as the Head of Sales and Marketing for Central and Eastern Europe, leading a team and focusing on building sales and marketing programs for customers in the region.

In addition to their professional roles, Gergo also co-founded GDL Office, a company where their specific role and responsibilities are not mentioned.

Gergo Unger obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Budapest Business University. Gergo attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Most recently, in February 2023, they obtained a certification in "Foundations of Project Management" from Google.
